This Return & Refund Policy applies to all purchases made on digicamstore.in
Digicamstore is a brand operated by Chipslip (“we”, “us”, or “our”).

 

 

Short Return Summary (Customer-Facing)

15-Day Returns & Refunds

  • We offer a 15-day return and refund window from the date of delivery.
  • Returns are accepted for functional issues, incorrect items, or transit damage.
  • As we sell pre-owned cameras, minor cosmetic wear is normal and not eligible for return.
  • All return requests must be raised within 15 days with valid supporting evidence.

Mandatory Video Unboxing Requirement

To ensure fair and transparent resolution of return requests, customers are strongly advised to record a continuous, unedited unboxing video at the time of delivery.

 

The video must clearly show:

  • The sealed package before opening
  • The complete unboxing process
  • The product, accessories, and condition upon receipt

The unboxing video is mandatory for claims related to:

  • Transit damage
  • Missing items or accessories
  • Incorrect product received

In the absence of a valid unboxing video, Digicamstore reserves the right to decline return or refund claims for the above issues, as permitted under applicable law.

 

 

15-Day Return & Refund Window

We offer a 15-day return and refund policy from the date of delivery.

To be eligible for a return:

  • The return request must be raised within 15 days of delivery
  • The product must be returned in the same condition as delivered
  • All original accessories, batteries, cables, manuals, and packaging (if any) must be included

 

 

Eligible Returns

Returns are accepted only in the following cases:

  • Functional defects or performance issues not disclosed on the product page
  • Incorrect product shipped
  • Transit damage, if reported within 24 hours of delivery, along with proper evidence

Since we sell used and refurbished products, minor cosmetic wear consistent with pre-owned usage does not qualify as a defect.

 

Non-Returnable / Non-Refundable Cases

Returns or refunds will not be accepted in the following situations:

  • Change of mind or personal preference after purchase
  • Cosmetic wear or usage marks already disclosed on the product page
  • Damage caused due to misuse, liquid exposure, mishandling, or unauthorized repairs
  • Missing accessories or tampered/altered serial numbers
  • Return requests raised after the 15-day window

 

Return Process

To initiate a return:

  1. Email contact@digicamstore.in within 15 days of delivery

  2. Share your order number, issue description, and supporting photos/videos

  3. Our team will review the request and provide return instructions if approved

Unauthorized or unapproved returns may not be accepted.

 

Return Shipping

  • If the return is approved due to a verified defect or our error, return shipping will be arranged or reimbursed by us
  • In other approved cases, return shipping costs may be borne by the customer

 

Inspection & Approval

  • All returned products undergo a quality inspection upon receipt
  • If the product fails inspection or does not meet eligibility criteria, the return may be rejected and sent back to the customer

 

 

Refunds

  • Approved refunds are processed to the original payment method
  • Refunds typically take 5–10 business days, depending on the bank or payment provider
  • Shipping charges (if any) are non-refundable, unless the return is due to our error

 

 

Exchanges

  • Exchanges are subject to product availability
  • If an exchange is unavailable, a refund will be issued instead

 

Cancellations

  • Orders may be cancelled before dispatch for a full refund
  • Once an order has been shipped, cancellations are not permitted

 

 

Consumer Protection & Legal Compliance (India)

This policy is framed in accordance with the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 and applicable rules.

Nothing in this policy limits or excludes any statutory consumer rights that cannot be waived under Indian law. Where a product is found to be defective, deficient, or not as described, appropriate remedies will be provided in accordance with applicable consumer protection laws.
